About the Role :

Salvos Stores are seeking a Permanent Full-time Workforce Effectiveness Lead Consultant to lead a range of projects that require strong knowledge of all HR domains. Build & Implement business-optimization initiatives leading to the National Standardisation of people and business processes / procedures.

You will increase efficiency and align people activities with organisational objectives by leading high-impact people projects across various HR domains including workforce development, talent management, people partnership programs and analytics

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Collaborate within the people team and across cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage projects scope and communicate project status, risks, and issues to the Project control group and other stakeholders, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Build simple solutions to solve a range of everyday People related business problems.
  • Prepare briefing papers and presentations for Senior Executives, draft policy, and procedure documents for the People team.
  • Lead a team of 1-2, guiding them in the delivery of allocated project deliverables and business-as-usual activities.
  • 7+ Years experience in similar roles, with experience managing complex people projects
  • Retail-industry experience is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong people and stakeholder management experience
  • Proven ability to implement programs to drive continuous improvement through efficient and effective processes and procedures
