Lives Lived Well offer a variety of community and residential Alcohol and Other Drug programs throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people every year to navigate alcohol and other drug (AOD) related challenges and move forward in life.
A new Residential AOD Treatment Facility designed to deliver high-quality, specialist residential AOD treatment services for adults aged 18 years and over is opening in Ipswich. The centre will provide a total of 46 beds, comprising 36 beds for residential rehabilitation and 10 beds for withdrawal management and care.
As a Withdrawal Nurse, you’ll be at the heart of our dedicated 10-bed detox unit, supporting clients as they take positive steps toward recovery. From managing medical needs to guiding clients through their transition into residential rehabilitation, you’ll play a key role in helping people reduce their substance use and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
This is a permanent position working either 4 or 5 days per week (Monday–Friday) with an hourly rate of $54-58 per hour with ongoing training and development opportunities. The role is within the Withdrawal Unit, with some “lean into” the Rehabilitation service, providing group training on health and wellbeing programs.

What we are looking for
Bringing experience in the AOD, Mental Health or Aged Care sector – you will have the clinical knowledge to support clients undergoing mild-to-moderate AOD withdrawal and support early stages of their recovery journey. Key clinical duties include :
