Position Classification : Clinical Nurse Consultant Gde 2

Remuneration : 131870.9 - 134500.7 full time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging)

Hours Per Week : 28. (Days of work Wednesday and Friday. Other days can be negotiated)

Responsibilities

What you\'ll be doing

The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant ( CNC / CMC ) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty. The role provides a consultancy and educational focus for ward based nurses in the care of children and their families. In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC / CMC will undertake primary responsibility for on-going education, development and evaluation of clinical practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who :

  • Has AHPRA and a minimum of 5 years full time post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Demonstrates proven clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice
