What you'll bring to the role :

We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead the overall operations of the venue, with a particular emphasis on fitness services, member satisfaction, and team development. Key skills and attributes include :

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• A passion for fitness and experience working in or managing a gym / fitness environment
• Strong communication and people management abilities
• Operational discipline and excellent time management
• The ability to coach, mentor and support staff development
• Confidence to manage and lead in a customer-facing setting
• A high attention to detail and ability to translate vision into action
• Financial and administrative capability
• A commitment to customer service and member satisfaction
• Professionalism, accountability, and resilience
• A focus on safety and maintaining high facility standards

Essential Qualifications (or willingness to obtain) :

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid Certification (essential)
• Current CPR (within 6 weeks of start)
• Pool Lifeguard (within 4 weeks of start)
• Swim Teaching Qualification (essential)

We offer in-house training and discounted rates on required qualifications.

Some weekend work and occasional split shifts may be required as part of the role.
