The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting our customers and internal stakeholders to drive sales growth, maintain strong gross profit margins, and deliver exceptional customer experience.
This position is responsible for managing key client relationships, supporting stock forecasting and planning in collaboration with the Demand Planning team, and working cross-functionally to ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of uniform solutions.
Based in Brisbane, this role supports a large-scale customer base and operates within a hybrid working structure, combining remote flexibility with strong support from our Melbourne Head Office.
To be successful in this position, you will have a minimum of eight years’ experience managing customer account strategies within the corporate apparel or uniform industry, with a proven ability to grow, develop, and sustain long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor customer sales performance, driving order growth and maintaining gross profit targets.
- Develop and maintain accurate stock forecasts and buy plans in collaboration with the Demand Planning team, ensuring alignment with customer KPIs.
- Monitor weekly sales data, order volumes, and financial outcomes, proactively identifying opportunities for growth or margin improvement.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Design & Product, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Partner with Customer Service to deliver outstanding day-to-day client support and resolve issues efficiently.
- Actively participate in Sales & Operations meetings, contributing insights and tracking key milestones in production and delivery.
- Acquire and maintain a strong working knowledge of the company’s ERP system (training provided).
- Manage client communications including pricing updates, account queries, site access and troubleshooting.
- Support Uniform Fittings as required.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of new customer contracts in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Liaise with the Production team regarding product sourcing, embroidery setup, and sample management.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the broader Account Management team.
