ARC Disability Services Inc. is a community-based organisation with a long history in the Cairns and Far North, supporting children and adults who have a disability, their families and support networks.

Role Summary

  • Full-time 6-month contract
  • 38hrs per Week
  • S.C.H.A.D.S. Industry Award – Level 4 - 5, based on experience

    This 6-month contract role is responsible for delivering quality, whole-of-life supports to individuals accessing services within ARC's Direct Services area. Key responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, creating daily routines, maintaining information, conducting risk assessments, coordinating staff, and ensuring effective service delivery.

  • Outstanding communication and strong interpersonal skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of N.D.I.S. and the SCHADS Award
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Working with Children (Blue Card) and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) and a Right to Work within Australia
  • Undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Experience in providing support to Individuals via case management
  • Knowledge of legislation, WHS regulations, Fair Work and Modern Awards
  • Good IT literacy including data management systems and software
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, time manage
  • Interpersonal skills, experience with external service providers
