About the Job

This Allied Health Assistant Traineeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised qualification in Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance while getting hands-on experience. Under supervision of Allied Health professionals and support staff, you will assist with clinical and non-clinical tasks, including patient one-to-one sessions, group exercise classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas. The Allied Health team will provide dedicated support and time to complete your Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. You will have learning opportunities to explore various Allied Health career paths within Hunter New England Health.

About You

• Currently at school or a recent school leaver eager to start a career in health.
• Motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills.
• Eager to learn about and help improve health outcomes for the community.
• Keen to work as part of a team supporting the community.
• Be able to communicate respectfully and build rapport easily with people.
