About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the LJ Hooker Bathurst team as a Property Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties in the Bathurst NSW 2795 region. The role involves providing outstanding customer service to both landlords and tenants, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, and maximising occupancy and rental returns for property owners.

What you'll be doing

  • Effectively managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
  • Leasing vacant properties by advertising, conducting inspections, and securing new tenants
  • Conducting regular property inspections and organising maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Handling tenancy inquiries, processing rent payments, and managing disputes
  • Advising landlords on market conditions, recommended rents, and strategies to optimise returns
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors

What we're looking for

  • Experience in residential property management is great however not essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Sound knowledge of residential tenancy laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in using property management software and databases
  • A positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude
  • A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
