Job description

Do you hold a medium rigid (MR) licence or above We offer a 4 week paid driver training program that will build on your current heavy vehicle skills and knowledge to navigate the roads as a professional Bus Driver.

About the role

We currently have multiple positions available for Casual Bus Drivers at our Wauchope depot . We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community whilst delivering the best experience possible to our customers.

A little bit about our rates!

  • 39.69 per hour Weekday (shift loadings range from 15 100 dependant on times of operation throughout the shift)
  • Up to $54.96 Sat) $73.29 Sun) $91.61 (PH) per hour
  • 17.49 attendance allowance paid daily

    Hours of work

    Hours of work and shifts vary from depot to depot. Our casual drivers typically work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon during the school term. In school holidays there is very limited work available.

    These hours are often suited to retirees wanting to reenter the workforce or supplement income. It is also a fantastic opportunity for people working parttime and wanting more hours.

    Eligibility to apply

  • A current and valid Medium Rigid or above drivers licence
  • A good driving history
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willing toundergoa preemployment medical checkcriminal history checkand working with children check.
  • Have a currentNSW Driver Authority is highly desired (or be willing to obtain one)
