About The Role

Sante Recruitment is proud to partner with Launceston General Hospital (LGH) to recruit a Staff Specialist Rheumatologist to join a collaborative, research-focused team serving the North of Tasmania. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic regional hospital environment while contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and quality improvement.

You Will

• Provide outpatient consultations to public patients across Northern Tasmania.
• Deliver specialist inpatient advice and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in research and teaching, supported by the Clifford Craig Foundation and the University of Tasmania.
• Work with supervision and collegial support from the Rheumatology Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

About You

To be successful, you will:

• Hold FRACP (Rheumatology) or equivalent.
• Be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care, teaching, and continuous improvement.
• Value collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
