About the Role
We are seeking experienced and caring Disability Support Workers to provide direct support to individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to help participants achieve their personal goals and improve their daily living outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care and daily living support aligned with NDIS standards.
- Assist participants with personal care, meal preparation, mobility, and medication support.
- Promote social inclusion and community participation activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and progress notes.
- Liaise effectively with clients, families, and allied health professionals.
- Uphold workplace health and safety and organisational compliance standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services) or equivalent qualification.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in disability or community services (preferred).Current First Aid and CPR certification.National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (mandatory).Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a caring attitude.Benefits
