Women's Health Nurse - Location Negotiable
We’re looking for a Women’s Health Nurse to deliver individual and population-based health services focused on prevention, early intervention, and health promotion across regional NSW.
Your Work Will Include
- Providing women's health clinics including cervical screening, breast health education, pelvic floor assessments, STI screening, and contraceptive and pregnancy support.
- Delivering counselling, consultation, and case coordination with referrals to other services.
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs that address local women’s health needs.
- Building networks and partnerships to strengthen service access across the district.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, community partners and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, culturally safe, and equitable care.
About You
Class C driver’s license to deliver services across the district.Current authority to practice unrestricted as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.Understanding of social determinants of health and unique needs of women across different life stages and backgrounds, with a focus on women experiencing health inequities.Experience supporting women with reproductive health options and facilitating women's health clinics.Experience working across community-based and outreach settings.Why join MLHD?
