Care Finder Worker

Housing for the Aged Action Group (HAAG) is seeking a dedicated team player to join our care finder team. The role focuses on assisting older people who may be falling through the gaps in the aged‑care system.

Responsibilities

• Support older people in accessing and understanding the aged‑care, housing and homelessness systems.
• Link clients to appropriate services, including housing, aged‑care and community health.
• Apply HAAG’s community engagement strategies to identify and engage potential clients.
• Build and maintain networks within the local community to support client engagement.
• Demonstrate empathy and maintain a professional relationship with clients and service providers.
• Use interpreters or speak community languages where required.

Qualifications

Eligibility

All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and will be required to complete a Working with Children Check and Police Check.

Salary

Salary range : $90,000–$100,000.
