Job description

We are very excited to offer a highly soughtafter casual Dietitian role that will be a part of our incredible Allied Health team at Epworth Richmond! Applications are invited from innovative passionate and highly motivated Dietitians committed to evidence based and multidisciplinary care.

In this casual role based in Richmond you will be responsible for providing optimal Dietetic services and positive clinical outcomes to patients ensuring positive longterm health and wellbeing outcomes. Working within a multidisciplinary team you will report to the Manager of Dietetics.

As the successful candidate your capability to interact and collaborate with your peers patients and their families shows your natural flair for communication organisation and planning skills. A robust supervision program exists to support you in this role.

You will make an impact by :

  • Providing evidencebased nutrition intervention advice support counselling and education to patients and family / carers
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide highquality care using a patientcentred approach
  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion and encourage patient and family members participation in all stages of care
  • Contributing to dietetics at Richmond Allied Health and broader multidisciplinary teams

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Minimum 2 years dietetic experience in the acute clinical setting
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience
  • Welldeveloped time management prioritisation and communication skills
  • The ability to work with key stakeholders to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes
  • A quality and risk focused approach to clinical practice patient care and decision making

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor / Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Association Australia
  • Eligible for the APD program
