• Please note this a Full time Fixed term Position for 12 Months
• About the Role :
• As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. You will provide clinical assistance to our dentists, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support the efficient running of our dental centre. Your responsibilities will include :
• Patient Flow :
• Prepare for patient appointments, coordinate with the dentist, and liaise with reception for scheduling and payments.
• Chair Side Assisting :
• Set up instruments and materials, assist with clinical procedures, perform data entry, and develop radiographs.
• Surgery Organisation :
• Maintain infection control, clean and maintain the surgery, manage waste, and assist other Dental Assistants as needed.
• Sterile Supply Unit :
• Clean and prepare handpieces for sterilisation, process instruments, maintain stock levels, and report any fraudulent activity.
• Work Health and Safety (WHS) :
• Comply with WHS policies, report hazardous conditions, and participate in health and safety activities.
• Skills and Qualifications :
• Essential :
• Dental knowledge and experience, neat appearance, good personal hygiene, confidentiality, initiative, and basic computer skills.
• Desirable :
• Experience in reception duties, qualifications in radiography, sterilising, first aid, and a Certificate III in dental assisting.If you are a team player with a passion for dental care and a commitment to providing excellent patient service, we would love to hear from you.
