    About the Opportunity

    We are seeking a dedicated Locum CT Radiographer  to join our team at our  Cowra Diagnostic Imaging  clinic as a Locum Mon-Fri Full-Time   from the Position available 7th July -15th August.  This position is ideal for an experienced CT Radiographer who can cannulate and work independently. Being part of a clinic in a rural area means you are comfortable working autonomously and you are confident in your ability to deliver imaging services; we have a Canon Aquilion Serve CT & Phillips X-Ray to support with delivering relevant procedures to our patients.

    Our  Cowra  practice is open Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5.00pm, with no on-call or evening work required. This role offers a competitive locum hourly rate, accommodation, travel reimbursement, and the chance to work with a close-knit, friendly team.

    Nestled along the banks of the Lachlan River, Cowra is a delightful town embraced by vineyards, flowing waterways, and scenic countryside in the stunning Lachlan Valley. Cowra has a distinctive blend of attractions, from wartime history and farm experiences to vineyards, natural wonders, and a vibrant arts scene.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality.
    • Interpret radiological requests and perform procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
    • Maintain optimal image quality and ensure examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements.
    • Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.
    • About You

      To be successful in this role, you will bring :

    • Proven expertise as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT, with a strong ability to work independently.
    • Hold the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology / Diagnostic Medical Radiography and will have a current AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
    • Full working rights in Australia and Open to working Holiday Visa's
    • Extensive experience working on a Canon Aquilion Serve
