Job description

The Role :

Fixed, full-time Emergency Medicine Senior Registrar for a 12 month position.

Benefits :

  • Base Salary  - $166,617 - $182,143
  • 12% super (from 1st July 2025)
  • 17.5% annual leave loading bonus
  • Additional 2 weeks of recreation leave (6 weeks in total)

The Facility

A major regional hospital located in the heart of Australia’s Red Centre. Serving a vast and diverse population across Central Australia, it offers a broad range of acute and specialist services.

The ED has approximately 50000 presentations a year with a 40% admission rate. Known for its tight-knit team, strong Aboriginal health focus, and opportunities for hands-on experience, the hospital is a unique and rewarding place to work — all set against the stunning backdrop of the outback.

The Requirements :

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Either be in the final year of training of the FACEM training program (Training Stage 4 registrar) or have demonstrated substantial equivalent clinical experience and hold ACEM assessment
  • Previous experience in ICU, Anesthetics, Paediatrics
  • Passion for regional and rural medicine.
