Job descriptionKey Details You can dedicate yourself completely to this role or take it all on as a shared role. There is also the opportunity to combine this after hours work with telehealth consults with partnered practices The role operates Monday to Friday 6pm - 8am | Saturday from 12pm | All day Sunday & Public Holidays A range of opportunities available - short term (3, 6 & 12 months), long term and ongoing Part-time or fixed roster patterns to align with your lifestyle & other work Flexible Service Fee dependant on days and hours you work per week The benefits of being self-employed with income stability No follow up appointments are necessary for after-hours work Face to face consults are bulk billed through Medicare About the role Visiting patients in their homes or care facilities afterhours. Help some of the more vulnerable patients in the local community The opportunity to offer a diverse range of clinical presentations to these patients As an after-hours GP work you can have flexibility and autonomy and can work perfectly when you are trying to juggle family, study, and other commitments Great earning potential on offer Very well supported by highly experienced provider Locations across most major cities and regional locations Opportunity to undertake telehealth work as part of your afterhours role with partnered practices Exemptions available at this location 19AA exemption available 19AB / DPA exemption possible Suitable for GPs who do not require a 19AB exemption Essential requirements VR and Non-VR GP's holding 19AA or 19AB are welcome to apply PGY3+ with General Registration with AHPRA Non-VR, AGPT, PEP & VR doctors all welcome Non-VR doctors not on AGPT or PEP are granted an initial 2-year placement VR / AGPT / PEP doctors can work with this client without time restrictions Medical Indemnity Insurance is essential for any GPs working in this role If you are a Non-VR GP you must have ALS certificate Paediatric experience Emergency experience Membership RACGP or ACRRM You must hold General or Specialist registration with AHPRA PGY3 and above Why work with Alecto Medical Recruitment?
