Account Manager

As an Account Manager based out of Wollongong, putting the customer first is your number one priority, ensuring you create exceptional customer experience for our new and existing customers.

You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Branch Manager & Sales Supervisor you will help drive a culture of work smarter, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining customer relationships in the mining & mineral processing sector and with their associated sub-contractors
• 40% of your role will be to generate new opportunities to build an existing client base
• You will have a strong sense of commitment towards the delivery of projects.
• Strong business acumen and reporting skills
• The role will see you traveling and meeting customers and clients 4 days a week
• You are a proactive and engaging team player with a customer-centric focus, who has a passion for account management. You enjoy operating autonomously and have a high level of integrity.
• Proven networking skills and an ability to build and strengthen customer relationships, across different construction segments.
• A proven sales record in Construction, Steel or Manufacturing industries preferred but not essential
• Have strong time management and communication skills
• Strong demonstration of achieving KPIs
• Preferred understanding of the mining & mineral processing sector.
