  • About the opportunity

    • Federal government department seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage, lead and deliver a program currently in mid-flight.

  • The program of work is complex and involves a number of vendors, contractors and close collaboration within the department. There are set timeframes for delivery and capped budgets available for the Program.
  • Deliverables
  • Review work to date, documentation and status of the Program.
  • Establish a program management office, ensure relevant program management artefacts are in place and provide program management oversight and leadership.
  • Provide expertise, strategic views and input to proposed business process, design, architecture, data and infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and report on the Program's progress, budget, acceptance of deliverables, risk and mitigations.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships, ensure delivery of the Program within timelines and budget.
  • Prepare and / or deliver a range of presentations and communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated the following experience
  • 5 years program delivery experience.
  • Program certifications will be highly regarded.
  • In large transformation projects and establishing program management offices.
  • Managing and reporting on Program progress, budget, acceptance of deliverables, risk and mitigations.
