    Job Description

    • Lead and supervise workshop staff in trailer repairs, maintenance, and modifications
    • Schedule and prioritise service jobs to meet deadlines and quality standards
    • Maintain workshop efficiency, cleanliness, and WHS compliance
    • Perform hands-on mechanical, structural, and brake system repairs as needed
    • Provide technical guidance and training to workshop team members
    • Manage customer service bookings, updates, and trailer handovers
    • Assess and process warranty claims in line with manufacturer policies
    • Liaise with internal teams for technical evaluations and recurring issues
    • Coordinate parts availability with procurement and monitor inventory usage
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of workshop staff
    • The Successful Applicant

      A successful Service Supervisor should have :

    • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
    • Trade-qualified or extensive hands-on experience in trailer / heavy vehicle repairs
    • Strong mechanical knowledge - brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, chassis, etc.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
    • Ability to manage workflow, prioritise tasks, and resolve operational issues
    • Sound understanding of WHS standards and workshop compliance
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and digital documentation tools
    • High attention to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
