About the Role :

Our client, a metallurgical project development firm based in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, is urgently seeking a casual afternoon shift Laboratory Assistant  for 3 months, with the potential to go permanent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to :

  • Weighing, pulverising, filtering and sieving rock and slurry samples.
  • Basic data entry.
  • General laboratory upkeep.

Skills & Experience :

  • This role does not require a tertiary qualification; however, a Diploma or Certificate in Laboratory Techniques or Similar is highly regarded.
  • A good attitude.
  • An excellent work ethic.
  • Previous experience in a lab-based role desirable but not necessary.
  • Ability to lift 20kg repetitively.
