We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Insurance & Compensation team in Melbourne as an Insurance & Compensation Clerk.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to kickstart a career in legal administration.

The ideal candidate will bring 12 months experience in an administration position, along with a genuine interest in building a career in the legal industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Updating Caseflow, running processes on files;
• Collating claim files;
• Preparing and updating medical lists;
• Preparing or typing legal correspondence of a legal nature from draft or dictated text;
• Creating and maintaining files, manually and system based;
• File management of documents, including correspondence, letters and file notes;

Any other duties as required.

Skills / Knowledge

Exceptional organisational skills.

Excellent literacy and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Professional and confident telephone manner.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
