This role sits within our Agent Success Team. The team responsible for building and nurturing travel agent relationships including onboarding, training and driving repeat usage of our product. You’ll play a hands‑on role in activating new agents and supporting existing ones through strategic engagement.

Based at our Melbourne HQ, you’ll work in a hybrid environment, backed by a proven sales methodology. This is a unique chance to join a high‑growth company with real career progression and make your mark in a channel that's scaling fast.

Why now?

We've just secured several major preferred supplier agreements with leading travel groups and our agent network is scaling rapidly. The next 12 months will be pivotal. This role will be at the center of it. You'll be joining at the exact right time to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive agent engagement through targeted outreach, virtual presentations and onboarding new travel agents to the Designer Journeys platform.
  • Deliver structured virtual training sessions to support agent activation, platform education and enquiry optimisation by utilising the sales methodology.
  • Proactively nurture existing agent relationships to build trust, increase repeat usage and ensure Designer Journeys is a trusted partner for their tailor‑made travel enquiry.
  • Maintain regular call cycles in line with the Agent Success sales methodology.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities within your portfolio and help agents unlock their potential through Designer Journeys services.
  • Represent Designer Journeys at trade shows and events where needed, with the ability to confidently speak to our value proposition.

You're the person who actually enjoys picking up the phone. You get a buzz from turning a skeptical travel agent into a raving fan. You're equal parts consultative seller and genuine helper, because you know the best sales relationships are built on trust.

This is a role for someone who :

  • An ex‑travel agent who misses the sales side but not the bookings
  • A BDM or inside sales rep ready to specialise in a booming industry
  • A hospitality or retail gun who's ready for a "proper" sales career
  • Someone in B2B sales who wants to be part of an exciting growth company
  • What matters most :

  • You're confident on the phone and running virtual training or presentations
  • You're curious, coachable and driven by hitting usage and sales‑based KPIs
  • You can balance strategic thinking with structured call cycles and follow‑ups
  • You communicate clearly and comfortably with a wide range of personalities
  • You're proactive, self‑motivated and genuinely enjoy building relationships that lead to results
  • Travel industry experience is preferred, especially if you've worked with agents or tour operators, but it's not essential. If you understand consultative sales and are passionate about helping others succeed, we'll teach you the rest.

  • Full‑time : 9am – 5pm (AEST / AEDT)
  • Cremorne office : 4 days / week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Work from home : Tuesday
  • Occasional weekends or after‑hours support for key campaigns and events
