The Role

We’re looking for a proactive, product-focused Senior Frontend Web Engineer who’s excited to take on multiple responsibilities and ship features that bring joy to users and value to restaurants.

You’ll join a team where you can have real influence, wide scope, and room to grow in a fun and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross‑functional teams, designing and building advanced web frontend features, improving application performance, and continuously improving application and code quality.

What You’ll Bring

• Proactive, hands‑on mindset, ready to jump into challenges, improve processes, and elevate the quality of the frontend codebase.
• Clear and effective communicator, capable of explaining technical decisions and collaborating across product and engineering teams.
• Hands‑on experience with React‑based frameworks such as Next.js, including routing, SSR / SSG, and application structure.
• Proficiency with modern UI libraries and styling systems (e.g., Emotion, Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) to build elegant, consistent interfaces.
• Skilled in integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, transforming backend data into performant and intuitive UI interactions.
• Experienced in tuning page load speed and rendering performance, with a strong understanding of web performance metrics and optimisation techniques.
• Strong grasp of core engineering principles, component architecture, and state management, with familiarity in modern scalable frontend architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, able to troubleshoot complex UI issues and refine user interactions.
• Experienced in automated testing and writing testable, reliable code, using modern testing frameworks and best practices.
