Our client is a specialist water well drilling company who are going through an exciting period of growth and expansion, they are seeking the services of experienced

water well drillers offsiders

to join their team.

Our client operates for various tier 1 mining companies and government agencies in Western Australia and offers exposure to a broad range of projects

The offsider's duties include

Operation of ancillary equipment including trucks and other machinery as required

Assist to set up / dismantle / move drill rigs and equipment

Assist drillers with the running of the drill site

Mix drilling mud's / fluids / chemicals / grouts as required

Ensure the drill site, drill rig, work area, vehicle and equipment are always in a safe and clean state

Conduct routine maintenance on drill rigs, equipment, vehicles, and tools.

Conducting daily pre-start equipment checks

Complete necessary safety paperwork and processes as directed by driller

Assisting with loading and unloading heavy vehicles

Cleaning drill rigs, vehicles, equipment and tools

Other duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following :

HR Drivers Licence (or willing to obtain one prior to starting)

Must Reside in WA or be willing to travel at own expense

Aptitude for mechanics and ability to handle machinery

Be physically and mentally fit

Demonstratable ability to work as part of a small team

Willing to work in remote areas under difficult conditions

Have great organisational skills

Enjoy practical and manual activities

Able to record details accurately

Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including D&A screen
