• Work within Australia’s largest electricity network , serving 2.25 million customers.
• Secure full time, permanent employment as part of the program.
• Maintain a healthy work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight , and an attractive commencing salary of $128k per annum plus 14.75% superannuation .
• Participate in a unique three-year program offering diverse working and learning experiences.
• Complete 6-month rotational placements in a range of specialisations and parts of the business to broaden your skills set and knowledge of the energy sector.
• Develop future focused technical, business and leadership skills .
• Complete challenging work assignments under the expert supervision of senior leaders and technical specialists.
• Work towards becoming a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).

Energy Queensland is the group of electricity distribution, retail, and energy services businesses 100% owned by the state of Queensland. We deliver electricity across Queensland through our ‘poles and wires’ businesses Energex and Ergon Energy Network. Our retailer, Ergon Energy Retail sells this electricity to customers throughout regional Queensland. These essential service activities are supported by a range of innovative products and services delivered through our Yurika brand.
