We provide services and supports to adults and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, this is your opportunity to assist in preparing quality meals at The Beacon adhering to food safety standards and in accordance with The Salvation Army policies and procedures. Reporting to the Head Chef, this is a casual position based in Northbridge, WA.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Adhere to cleaning, food preparation, presentation and food service procedures and standards.
• Follow directions regarding portion control, cooking standards and wastage.
• Prepare meals according to menu requirements.
• Serve meals efficiently in an organised way at the stipulated times.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, equipment is washed and stored correctly in accordance with hygiene standards including utilisation of authorised cleaning products.
