Base salary ranges between $68,471 and $77,832 p.a. (CA3).12.75% employer superannuation contribution.Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual.Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.

In your downtime , we offer 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave with a 17.5% loading / bonus.

About The Role

Support pharmacists at Mount Isa Hospital and other affiliated units located within the North West Hospital and Health Service and undertake duties to relieve pharmacists of technical and non-professional tasks, ensuring pharmacy services of the highest standard are provided in the most cost-efficient manner.

Requirements

A Certificate III as a Dispensary Assistant (Community or Hospital) is mandatory.A Certificate of Competency in 'Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock', as part of a Certificate III in Hospital Pharmacy is a legal requirement for undertaking Controlled Drug imprest duties (Applicants who do not have a certificate of competency in this module are expected to complete it (at their own expense) within 3 months of commencing employment. Probation will not be confirmed unless this has been completed).Some of the roles have significant manual handling requirements.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to : Hepatitis A / B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.A period of probation may apply.
