Located in Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs, Our client is a well known organisation that is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse 2IC to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment where ongoing development is highly encouraged. You will play a vital role in supporting the warehouse manager to meet the daily demands and ensuring that productivity of all teams are met to set standards.

The Opportunity

As the Warehouse 2IC some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are :

• Manage activities for cycle counts, correct stock variances or inaccuracies
• Support with the management of a roster of 5 full time staff and 20-30 casual staff.
• Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve
• Develop and contribute to 'best in class' processes within the warehouse.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Supervision of normal operational activities from receiving to dispatch and everything in between.
• Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment.
• Supervise and lead warehouse teams & individuals to achieve team KPIs and goals
