About the opportunity :
This position will provide an adult Speech Pathology service at Nexus Primary Health, delivering community and centre-based assessments and interventions for clients living in the community. This will include delivering high quality assessment, management, and intervention of adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties resulting from various conditions, including but not limited to, congenital or acquired disability, stroke, dementia, and Parkinson's disease. Our team-based approach ensures the Speech Pathologist will work within a multi-disciplinary framework to deliver person centred care. The development of client directed care plans assists with the achievement of client goals whilst implementing a self-management approach to service delivery. This position contributes to the success of Nexus Primary Health by operating as a Speech Pathologist within the Adult Allied Health team.
