Five-day week

Our Client is a warm and welcoming Specialist Orthopaedic surgeon who is committed to providing holistic medical care for his patients. The main practice is situated in a convenient and vibrant location in Nedlands boasting modern rooms with superior facilities. There are also satellite practices so the ability to travel between practices is essential.

  • The Role
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice / surgeon requirements
  • Diary management including processing referrals in a timely manner
  • Meeting / greeting of patients
  • Coordinating, preparing for and efficiently running clinics
  • Theatre bookings and billings including liaising with hospitals and anaesthetists
  • Answering phones and making appointments
  • Liaising with various pathology and radiology providers to schedule scans and follow up results prior to clinic
  • Billing and accounts - aged debtors / billing / receipting money, banking and the use of EFTPOS
  • Checking medical reports and letters (Dragon Voice Recognition)
  • Business planning, including developing and implementing strategies to achieve practice goals and financial benchmarking
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly reports as directed

  • Ability to travel between all practice locations - travel allowances provided
  • Proficient computer skills - Preferably Genie
  • Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally
  • High level attention to detail
  • Loyal, reliable and punctual
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Professional and positive communication skills which are team focused for connecting with the patient population and successfully coordinating the practice team
  • Up to date COVID-19 vaccination & Flu vaccination
