Job descriptionInterpreting blueprints : Understanding detailed plans to guide fabrication. Cutting and shaping metal : Using tools and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces. Welding and joining : Employing different welding techniques to fuse metal parts. Inspecting and testing : Ensuring the integrity and quality of the fabricated parts. Diagnosing issues : Identifying problems with metal components. Performing repairs : Fixing or replacing damaged parts. Conducting regular maintenance : Keeping equipment in optimal working condition. Adhering to standards : Following industry and safety standards. Inspecting finished products : Conducting thorough inspections for defects. Documenting processes : Keeping records of fabrication and inspection activities. Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met
WELDWORKS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Welder and / or Metal Fabricator for our company(residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces). On a full-time basis , you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.
Title : Welder and / or Metal Fabricator , Full- time position
Salary : A$ 85,000.00 to 95,000.00 plus super
Work Location : In person.
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following :
Requirements
- Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Engineering-Fabrication Trade / (Welding)
- Proven experience as Welder and / or Metal Fabricator for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and strength.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
