Location : Adelaide CBD

Duration : 6 months | Full-time | Immediate Start

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly capable and professional Senior Executive Support Officer to support a Chief Executive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This 6-month contract offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real impact.

About the role

As the Senior Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive, ensuring seamless operations across diary, correspondence, travel, meetings and strategic briefings.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Chief Executive's calendar, correspondence, travel, and financial processes

Coordinate meetings, events, agendas and briefing materials

Prepare presentations, speech notes and ministerial correspondence

Provide research, advice and oversight on departmental projects and activities

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Ministerial offices

Record and follow up on high-level meeting actions

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely delivery of advice and documentation

About You

Proven experience providing senior executive support within government or similar high-level environment

Strong skills in diary management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and records management

Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality briefings, reports and correspondence

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across executive and operational levels

Sound understanding of Government protocols, Cabinet and Parliamentary processes

Strong organisational and forward-planning abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of machinery of government and Ministerial procedures

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline are desirable
