This is both a concierge and static guard role, ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the premises.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide a professional, courteous, and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions.
• Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
• Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high-security standards and resolve any issues that arise.
• Skills and experience :
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Security licence
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Experience in security operations (ideal, but not necessary)
• Positive attitude, great communication skills, willingness to learn and adapt
• Australian Citizenship required; Baseline clearance (or the ability to obtain)
• Australian Defence force experience is desirable Veterans are encouraged to apply
• Requirements :
• Australian citizenship
• Hold or be willing to obtain a high-level security clearance
• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
• Valid ACT Security licence.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain).##
