Job DutiesSetting up kitchen with cooking utensils and making it ready for cooking / bakingMeasuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, & other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc.Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough.Baking different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, and multigrain breads.Decorate baked products using glaze, icing, and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.Inspecting quality of products throughout production process and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times.Ensuring wastage is minimized and the budget of supplies and materials are adhered.Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends.A work ethic with a focus on continual self-improvement.Successful applicants must have the following :
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IVAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualificationsAbility to multi-task and perform under pressure.Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired.Possess effective communication skillsPay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
