Job description

As a Claims Consultant youll play a critical role in our Retail Life Claims team guiding customers through life insurance claims with care expertise and efficiency.

What will you do

  • Independently managing a portfolio of life insurance claims endtoend
  • Assess analyse calculate and finalise claims payments
  • Active engagement of external treating doctors rehabilitation consultants as well as in house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer
  • Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy policy and claims procedures
  • Participate in case conferences peer case discussions and instructing third party service providers

Qualifications :

  • Diverse backgrounds welcome   Nursing and allied health (physiotherapy chiropracting remedial massage or sports injury psychology) or finance legal or accounting experience to deal effectively with financial planners and selfemployed individuals
  • Or a Background in Income Protection claims TPD claims Group Life
  • Customerfocused mindset   Strong communication empathy and decisionmaking skills
  • Passion for guiding recovery   Experience in rehabilitation returntowork programs or crisis management
  • High Attention to detail   Ability to navigate complex processes with precision
  • Curious and growthfocused   A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Youre accountable resilient and solutionfocused always striving for the best outcomes for customers and partners.
