Job Title : Locum General Practitioner - ACCHO - Ipswich, Queensland.

Proposed Locum Period : Now until February 2025.

Hours : Full-Time.

This Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) is seeking General Practitioners for their Ipswich and Laidley Clinics. This well-established clinic has strong community engagement and is well supported by Nursing and Aboriginal Health staff. The clinic is seeking dedicated and experienced General Practitioners to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, possess excellent clinical skills, and be enthusiastic about working in a collaborative environment, and with First Nation peoples and communities. DPA / 19AB Permanent.

715 Health Checks are utilised at the clinic as a vital tool improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. They prioritise early detection and management of health conditions, promoting a holistic approach to health, and contributing to closing the gap is our priority. All General Practitioners have the option to attend local schools to conduct 715 Health Checks.
