Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care - Nelson Bay

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in or near Nelson Bay including surrounding suburbs Anna Bay, Boat Harbour, Bobs Farm, Carrington, Corlette, Fern Bay, Fingal Bay, Fullerton Cove, Lemon Tree Passage, Mallabula, One Mile Beach, Oyster Cove, Salamander Bay, Shoal Bay, Soldiers Point, Tanilba Bay or Taylors Beach.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared/rental vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
• Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What this role offers:

• Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates
• Permanent Part-Time Contracts
• Permanent Contract hours: 20-40 hours perfortnight + flex up hours.
• Hourly Rate: $31.13 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!

As a valued team member, you’ll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
