Job descriptionExperience as a practice nurse Immunisation accredited Willingness to seek continuing nurse education Up to date knowledge of autoclave sterilisation Provides care in the general practice environment Responsible for ensuring excellent patient care and efficient systems are maintained Supervise nursing staff and medical practice assistants Nursing duties include wound management, immunisation, ECG and spirometry, triaging of patients and assisting medical practitioners Ensure that infection control protocols are maintained Manage immunisation and chronic disease management clinics Manage patient recall systems Follow up of absent Doctors including pathology, radiology and special reports are attended to.
