  • What You Will Be Doing
  • The Clinical Educator - Community Mental Health is an integral member of the education and clinical leadership teams. The Clinical Educator demonstrates flexibility in supporting all levels of staff across the organisation; with particular focus on education to mitigate risk, advancing clinical practice and developing staff along the novice to expert continuum. The Clinical Educator works competently within their scope of practice delivering and facilitating education in compliance with evidence-based practice as well as hospital policy and guidelines.

    This position will participate in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Health.

  • What You Need
  • We anticipate you will have :

  • Health Professional qualification and registration as applicable to profession
  • Post-Graduate qualifications in education, leadership, research, or relevant clinical area.
  • Current and extensive experience working within community mental health settings.
  • Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-direction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High level of computer proficiency.

  • Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 or MEDICAL SCIENTISTS, PHARMACISTS AND PSYCHOLOGIST (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR)(SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT (2021-2025) for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
