Located in Sydney, our client is currently looking for a highly motivated Technology Lead with extensive experience in SQL, GIS, and Geospatial. What you will be doing :

Lead the technology function of the business

Develop our SQL database, SSRS reports, business applications and spatial data technologies

Drive innovation to business systems and processes

Contribute to the design, build & maintenance of high quality, scalable & secure IT infrastructure and systems.

Drive successful outcomes for the business including working with service providers to achieve these

Set up frameworks to support business processes including change management and release processes, helpdesk support, and asset and software management

Who we are looking for :

Qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field

Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Python, GIS Software

Understanding of Spatial Web Services, REST APIs, CRM / ERP technologies, Hyper-V administration is advantageous

Experience of SQL database development

Excellent general knowledge of IT systems and applications design / best practice

Strong communication skills

Ability to persuade stakeholders

Leadership skills

Experience in change management, project management, r and budgets
