Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS) is one of the largest schools in Western Australia, serving over 2,300 students and employing about 180 teachers and 70 support staff. The Role

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive Home Economics (Food) Teacher to join our Technologies team. The successful applicant will deliver engaging Year 7–12 Food Technology courses and support students in achieving their best in Food Technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement inspiring Food Technology lessons that motivate students.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and accountable learning environment.
• Differentiate the curriculum to support and challenge learners across abilities.
• Integrate current curriculum and emerging technologies to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Demonstrate reflective practice and commit to continuous improvement.
• Model the school’s values of Care, Respect, Responsibility, and Excellence.
