Calvary Lutheran Primary School is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 4 / 5 Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team for the remainder of the 2025 school year. This is a full-time, contract position commencing at the beginning of Term 3.

About the Role

As part of a collaborative Year 4 / 5 team, you will work alongside three other passionate educators to provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You will be responsible for supporting the academic, emotional and spiritual growth of a diverse group of learners, including neurodiverse students and those with additional needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Proven experience teaching in middle or upper primary or multi-age settings

A deep passion for engaging students in their learning and supporting their wellbeing

Strong skills in differentiation and inclusive education

A willingness to support and uphold the Lutheran ethos of the school

A collaborative, team-focused approach to teaching

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to set and maintain respectful boundaries with students, families, and colleagues

An understanding of, or openness to learn, the Berry Street Education Model, Playberry Literacy Program, and restorative practices

A commitment to our Child Safe practices and policies

Requirements :

Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

RRHAN training certification

Current first aid training is desirable
