Financial Accountant (Maximum Term Contract until February 2027) to join our finance team and provide essential support across financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvements. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll assist with key financial processes, support senior accountants with reconciliations and reporting, and contribute to system and control improvements across the team.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team player with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to learn. You’ll thrive in a collaborative team and enjoy contributing to consistent, accurate financial outcomes.

You’ll bring

Progress towards or completion of CA or CPA qualification
Foundational understanding of Australian Accounting Standards
Experience (or strong internship exposure) in month-end close, reconciliations, or financial reporting
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior accountants
Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
(Nice to have) Experience in property, retirement living, or aged care sectors

What you’ll be doing

Assisting with month-end close activities, including journal preparation and reconciliations

Supporting the preparation of financial reports and variance analysis

Maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger

Assisting with external audits and investor reporting cycles

Contributing to ongoing improvements in finance systems and processes

Providing day-to-day support to the wider finance team
