Join our dynamic Energy team and lead the design of transmission line projects, including PLS‑CADD modelling and structural design, for a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do as a Senior / Associate Transmission Lines Engineer

• Deliver innovative solutions in the overhead transmission and distribution market, with additional support for the generation and industrial HV sectors.
• Lead transmission line design projects, demonstrating strong industry experience and project leadership.
• Apply in‑depth knowledge of Australian and international standards related to overhead transmission line design, testing, and commissioning.
• Utilise PLS‑CADD software, including TOWER and POLE modules, with proficiency.
• Understand the full lifecycle of transmission lines—from planning and design through to construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify and secure new opportunities.
• Provide technical support to client operations, recommending improvements, upgrades, and promoting innovation, safety, and sustainability.
• Adhere to all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements specific to the role.
• Take ownership of your career development through regular Thrive conversations and goal setting.
