Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
At Senior Tax Quantity Surveyor level your role will include but not be limited to :
- Ensuring engagements are undertaken efficiently and in budget
- Making sure that MBMs work in carried out in accordance with our Quality Assurance requirements
- Overseeing the quality of the work undertaken by junior staff
- Representing and promoting MBM in the market
- Assisting with Business Development activities including preparing fee proposals

With some supervision provision of Tax Depreciation and Asset Advisory services including
Tax depreciation - estimates of allowances and depreciationmodellingand auditingTax depreciation - depreciationmodellingand auditingAsset registers, including ongoing management of asset registersInsurance replacement cost assessmentsCapex forecastingMaintenance reserve fund & capital replacement fund reportsMeetings :
Attend all meetings with Client and / or project team and MBM Directors and staff as required

Qualifications and Skills :
Citizenship : Must be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency.Education : Hold a degree in Construction Management or a related field.Experience : 4-6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying roles, particularly in capital allowances (tax depreciation) or similar.Technical Proficiency : Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capable of using CostX and Buildsoft.Accreditation : AIQS / MRICS qualified or working towards it is beneficial but not essential. Registered Tax Agent is also beneficial but not essential.Communication Skills : Strong numerical literacy, verbal and written communication with attention to detail.Learning Attitude : A desire to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and apply new knowledge.Professionalism : Demonstrate a professional attitude and the ability to work independently.Organizational Skills : High level of personal organization and time management.What We Offer :
