Due to ongoing growth, Lely Australia is looking to expand their Cluster Oceania Technical Service Support team. The purpose of the role is to support and train our Lely Centre technicians in the correct installation, optimal service, and maintenance of all Lely products in the field. The function also provides second-line technical support to achieve optimum customer satisfaction. This role ensures that the services provided meet the Lely standard and are in line with the Lely value proposition.

Training Support :

  • Monitor, teach and support Lely Centre Service teams on continuous development in service support by driving proactive service practices.
  • Travel to Lely Centres on a recurring basis to conduct training, coaching, and provide in-field support to the Service Managers and their technical teams.
  • Offer second-line support accessibility via a rotating on-call roster in the event of emergencies.

Stakeholder Management :

  • Support Lely Centre technical teams to ensure that they are qualified and certified.
  • Monitor Lely Centre Key Performance Indicators.
  • Provide Lely HQ with any relevant information or feedback from the field.
  • Job Requirements :

  • At least 5 years solid and relevant technical experience ideally in robot milking systems or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and plan activities autonomously, in line with company expectations.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Able to travel within Australia. Flexible for international, if required.
