About the Roles :

We are hiring the following Regional Head of Department Positions :

Primary :  Mathematics, English, Science & Humanities.

Secondary : English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science, HPE, Arts, Languages, Technologies, Commerce, VET & Digital Learning

  • This position can be based out of any of our AU campuses as listed

Reporting directly to the appropriate portfolio of the Sub-Regional Director of Teaching and Learning – Secondary Team, the RHOD oversees all curriculum and Assignment planning, Assignment quality assurance, internal assessment, and supports Campus Principals in their responsibility for quality assurance of Lessons, Studies and Tutorials.

The Regional Head of Department (RHOD) is responsible and accountable for what is taught in their given subject discipline. The RHOD implements the OneSchool Global bespoke Learning to Learn Framework as the founding principle of curriculum design, ensuring all teaching and learning is delivered through Assignments that are of the highest possible standard, utilizing approved curriculum resources and innovative digital platforms.

    • About You : Essential

  • Proven outstanding teacher, qualified to teach the relevant subjects of the Department.
  • Skilled at curriculum planning to demonstrate intent, implementation and impact upon student progress.
  • Experience of using Digital Learning tools effectively.
  • Leadership experience in a relevant middle or senior school role.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.

    • Desirable

    Previous experience as an examination body assessor / marker, in educational resource design or teacher training.
