Opportunity

Our Industrial group of technical engineering and project management specialists have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and successful project solutions for our clients. As a result, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team, to partner with our clients in delivering all sized projects and capital works. This role is ideal for someone with established experience who is looking to take the next step in their Career by playing a lead role in project delivery and supporting the development of their colleagues.

About You

This position would suit a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in delivering capital projects within the food, beverage, energy, manufacturing, minerals, metals or water industries. You will be highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes for the business and our clients. Previous on-site experience and consulting experience will be well-regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical and piping work packages, specifying and integrating mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrate your ability and passion for combining practical and pragmatic engineering experience with your understanding of technical solutions.
• Work effectively in a team environment to deliver multi-disciplinary design, coordinating mechanical design inputs and outputs with other disciplines, from early phase scope definition to detailed design.
• Build strong long-term relationships with our clients across multiple industries, and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business, translate client requirements into project deliverables, and ensure that services meet their expectations.
• Leading and mentoring more junior engineers and their professional growth and development.
• Playing a vital role in setting the mechanical team’s long term strategic direction.
• Working with site‑based engineering teams delivering capital projects – bringing flexibility to travel to work alongside clients to deliver projects.
